Colwood offers the choice of two styles of handpiece for wood burning. Both handpieces are made up of cork on plastic/phenolic providing for many hours of comfortable wood burning. Fixed Tip and Replaceable tip. Both styles plug into the handpiece cord

This tip is fully capable of performing its intended function. But some may be wary about the degree to which its mass and length requires a higher temperature setting than other tips. Others, like myself, may find that the sheer length of the tip makes it more unwieldy. I find it harder to accomplish with finesse what I hoped from it than when using shorter tips intended for the same purpose. I do like the shape of the business end of the tip which is sized for "fine" details and lines. I do not regret the purchase, but do spotlight these caveats.
