1310101 - Bench Knife, 1-1/2", Short Reach (SR)

I just started getting into wood carving/whittling, and Bigfoot Carving Tools had everything that I needed to get started! This bench knife is a great starter's knife. It's well-crafted and balanced, and the matte wood finish gives great control over the tool. The knife arrived pretty sharp; although, I don't know if I would say razor sharp. I've had mixed results with stropping the knife to sharpen. Sometimes, it seems like it's working and sometimes it seems like it's duller than before. Perhaps I'm still just getting a hang of it. Either way, I'm very happy with this knife and foresee using it as my go-to tool until I start expanding my toolkit. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to get going on a budget.
