The Stryi Detail Woodcarving knife, 15 degree bevel, 1-1/2" (40mm), is used in detailed micro carving, cutting in hard to reach places. This tool comes pre-sharpened and ready to use right from the package.
These Stryi Tools are made in the Ukraine. These tools come sharp from the Stryi. Tool steel used is high quality carbon steel, 2mm metal thickness & razor sharp, with the Rockwell hardness of RC 60-62. Oak handles finished with linseed oil.

This knife appears to be made from high quality steel for the blade and comes with a very comfortable handle. It wasn’t razor sharp when I received it so a few strokes on a strop got it to a razor edge. Overall, I really like the quality and shape of the knife. It is a great addition to my other detail knives. Glad I purchased it!
