I do a lot of gourd work that involves piercing through the entire wall of the gourd. Many of the other bits I have used either get dull very quickly or snap in two. The price is for this bit is higher than the price for other bits but outlasts the cost of a half dozen cheaper ones, making it totally worth the money.
