Janet Cordell has been carving professionally for forty-eight years, and has been teaching woodcarving and sculpture since 1986. In 1994, she opened her own school of wood sculpture. The Ozark Mountain School of Sculpture is currently housed in a log cabin on the family property, where the quiet, undisturbed atmosphere and close proximity to nature foster creativity. Woodcarving A Realistic Woman’s Face
As promised, here are pictures of the actual project and the information for the class.
Subject:  Woman’s Face Project, 8” tall
Location:  Online Zoom class
Cost: $150.  Includes roughout and handouts. Upon receipt of payment, you will be registered and I’ll send your project roughout and handouts, plus other pertinent information.
Tools I’m going to use: knife, #11 gouges in the following widths: 30mm, 15mm, 10mm, 5mm, 3mm, 1mm. Besides these a flatter fishtail type of gouge or two, in different widths. bigfootcarvingtools.com will hopefully have tools in these sizes in case you’re searching. We all need an excuse to buy new tools.
Dates and Times:  October 19, 23, 26, 30, & November 2 and 6.
These are 2-hour sessions starting at 2 p.m. Pacific Time.
Videos will be available to students for for a limited time for future reference.
